Biography

Madison Schrutka specializes in representing clients in matters such as clearing clouds on title in the Bakken formation and conducting the deep analysis of documents that must be done in order to do so. During her first year of law school, she joined Oliva Gibbs as a clerk and has been part of the team ever since. As a law clerk, Madison gained fundamental experience investigating legal issues that directly impact clients, conducting thorough analysis of title chains, and learned the importance of providing top-of-the-line work product.

Madison graduated summa cum laude from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Thereafter, she worked at a boutique litigation boutique in Austin, Texas. In May 2025, she graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston where she served on the Board of Advocates, participated in national moot court competitions, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society, and became a certified Texas mediator.

Outside of work, Madison enjoys staying active, running, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her dog, Bruiser.
