Biography

Kate Underwood assists clients with a wide range of oil and gas transactional matters, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, operations, title examination, and due diligence. With more than 12 years of experience, she has worked with independent landowners, publicly traded companies, and privately held companies on projects throughout Texas and New Mexico.

Kate’s practice focuses on preparing title opinions, negotiating and drafting contracts, preparing curative instruments, and guiding clients through the due diligence process. She is dedicated to providing practical, clear, and thorough support to help clients achieve their goals in every stage of a transaction.
