Joshua G. Van Maele

Biography

Josh Van Maele represents oil, gas, and mineral exploration and production companies on operational, environmental, regulatory, and surface use matters nationwide. He drafts and negotiates all key agreements related to purchases, sales, mergers, and joint ventures and also advises on transfer of operatorship issues. He has examined mineral and leasehold title to lands located in the Eagle Ford Shale, Permian Basin, Haynesville Shale, Barnett Shale, Delaware Basin, and Granite Wash, and prepared title opinions identifying associated business risks; recommended steps necessary to maintain leases; and drafted deeds, assignments and other instruments concerning the transfer of real and personal property.

Josh is Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
