Doni Carder

Biography

Doni Carder is a Texas-licensed attorney and land professional with more than 20 years of experience in title examination, curative, and land operations. She has experience in lease and division order management, acquisition and divestiture due diligence, and commercial contracting, with a particular focus on analyzing title opinions, curing defects, and determining ownership across mineral, surface, leasehold, and royalty estates.

Doni has led land and lease teams and delivered clear title on complex multi-basin assets, including work in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Utah, and North Dakota. Most recently, she directed land functions for multi-client BPO portfolios, served as internal counsel on contracts and commercial risk, and acted as land subject matter expert for the development of an AI-enabled land tool.

She combines in-house landman and land administration experience with advanced legal training to bridge land, commercial, and legal work. Doni is an active member of the National Association of Lease and Title Analysts (NALTA); Houston Association of Lease and Title Analysts (ALTA); American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL); and Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL); and regularly speaks and publishes in the industry.
