Biography

Donald Collier’s practice involves oil and gas leases, surface agreements, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, complex mineral issues, pooling issues, lease analysis, joint operating agreements, surface use issues, and oil and gas transactions and litigation. He also drafts oil and gas drilling title opinions, as well as supplemental title opinions and limited acquisition title opinions for clients conducting oil and gas operations.

Donald is licensed to practice in Texas and North Dakota and has significant experience advising on Bakken projects. He was part of the 2023 – 2024 Institute for Energy Law’s Leadership Class and serves on the board of the Survive2Thrive Foundation.

Donald enjoys theatre, traveling, and learning new languages.
