Michael Howell

Biography

Michael Howell hails from Southlake, Texas. He previously worked in banking operations where he gained experience leading commercial lending processes and financial services. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and earned his J.D. from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in May 2025.

In law school, Michael served as a legal writing tutor and research assistant, was senior editor for the Journal of Social Justice and Policy, and participated in moot court. He also received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys reading history and epic fantasy, watching college football and mixed martial arts, and stays active through exercising and walking on the Katy Trail.
