
Gabe focuses on mineral and energy law, including the rendering of drill-site and division order title opinions and drafting and analysis of joint operating agreements, farmout agreements, mineral leases and areas of mutual interest agreements. He also has significant experience advising clients on business transactions and contract analysis and disputes.
Gabe’s unique experience with upstream business and litigation work allows him to identify complex legal issues and draft comprehensive agreements to minimize his clients’ business risk and potential liability at the outset. It also helps him to proactively spot opportunities and work with clients to devise successful and practical growth strategies.
Prior to his legal career, Gabe worked as an independent landman in Louisiana and Texas. He resides in Lafayette with his wife and two children.
