Donald’s practice involves oil and gas leases, surface agreements, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, complex mineral issues, pooling issues, lease analysis, joint operating agreements, surface use issues and title curative, drafting oil and gas drilling title opinions, supplemental title opinions, and limited acquisition title opinions for clients conducting oil and gas operations, oil and gas transactions and litigation.
Donald is licensed to practice in Texas and North Dakota and has significant experience advising on Bakken projects. He is part of the 2023 – 2024 Institute for Energy Law’s Leadership Class and serves on the board of the Survive2Thrive Foundation. Donald also enjoys theatre, traveling, and learning new languages.
