
Chris is an experienced energy and natural resources attorney, drawing on his diverse and varied background to provide judicious, practical, and cost-effective solutions for his clients.
Prior to joining Oliva Gibbs, Chris practiced at a Pittsburgh-based boutique firm specializing in serving the unique needs of oil and gas and renewable energy companies. Chris has also served as a judicial clerk in the Pennsylvania Superior Court and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, providing him with a background in litigation and regulatory matters, as well as assisting him in developing creative solutions to complex issues.
Named to The Order of Barristers upon graduation from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Chris was the Lead Articles Editor of the Journal of Law & Commerce; a finalist at the National Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition; and completed internships with the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, and the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission.
In his free time, Chris is an avid birdwatcher who seeks out opportunities to spend time outdoors and enjoys rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies.
