Brandon advises energy clients on oil and gas title matters, upstream transactions, regulatory compliance, and related corporate solutions. Prior to joining Oliva Gibbs, he practiced as an oil and gas litigator and class action attorney, representing landowners and businesses in complex energy disputes nationwide.
Born in Alaska and raised in Texas, Brandon has lifelong ties to the energy industry. He worked as a landman while earning his Finance and Energy Management degrees at the University of Oklahoma. He later returned to OU for his J.D. During law school, he clerked for prominent oil and gas law firms, interned for a Dallas-based mineral holdings company, and served as President of the Oil & Gas, Natural Resource & Energy Law Society (ONE-S).
Brandon combines his background in litigation, title, and transactional work to deliver clear, actionable legal strategies to oil and gas clients across the country. He’s also a contributing member of LexDAO, a nonprofit focused on legal innovation through smart contracts and blockchain technology.
